Welcome to Grace!

Grace Baptist Church is a church that is trying to understand the truth of the Word of God and live it out in our lives day by day. We are convinced that God’s Word is the unique and inspired self-disclosure from God. We are a family of believers who come together to worship God, study the Scripture, and to help and encourage one another. We would love for you to visit us for a Sunday service! If you have questions, you are welcome to contact Danny, our pastor, through email: danny@gracersvl.org. God bless you!

Announcements

Sunday Worship
Sunday School begins at 9:45 tomorrow morning, followed by our morning worship service at 10:45.
Men's Breakfast and Workday, June 14
Our men will meet for a fellowship breakfast on Saturday, June 14, at 8 am in the life center. We will work on several maintenance projects around the church and parsonage after the meal. All our men and young men are encouraged to come hungry and ready to work.
Church Camp Prep, June 14
Our female campers and sponsors will be preparing decorations for church camp on Saturday, June 14. Any girls going to camp are welcome to join. We plan to have the girls helping from 10:00-2:00 and will be feeding them lunch. Contact Katy Tramel with any questions.
Church Camp, June 16-19
Our summer church camp will be here before we know it. Camp dates are June 16-19 for students age 9 through college. The camp fee is $155 per camper, with the church covering half the cost for members and regular attenders. T-shirts for camp are also available for pre-order. Shirts cost $10 for children and $12 for adults. The sign-up sheet for camp has been collected. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Hoke.
Church Camp is an excellent opportunity for students to get away from the distractions of everyday life and focus on what the Lord is teaching us through the messages and lessons being prepared.
Our Wednesday night classes will be canceled on June 18. Anyone who would like to join us for worship at camp is invited. Worship begins at 7 pm. The camp address is 705 Budd Creek Rd. Greers Ferry, AR, and there are usually several people making the trip if you'd like to carpool.
Membership Class, June 22
Our second round of membership classes will start again on Sunday, June 22, at 6 pm. The meeting will begin with a fellowship meal followed by a lesson and discussion. The class will continue through the summer on June 29, July 27, and Aug 3. All church members are encouraged to attend. The main dish for the meal will be provided, but please bring a side or dessert. Please RSVP to Joy at 479-219-7993 so arrangements for the meal can be made.
Bottles for Babies Campaign
Our local pregnancy resource clinic, ChoiceCare (formerly Choices Pregnancy Resources Clinic), is currently running its annual Bottles for Babies fundraising campaign. Baby bottles are available to fill with loose change and support this vital ministry in our local community. Bottles will be collected and returned on Father's Day. ChoiceCare provides evidence-based medical information and services to women and families facing unexpected or unsupported pregnancies.
